About Society:
The first rural conference of the Indian National Congress was held in 1936 at this place. On this event Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Javaharal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and other national personalities were gathered here and Local great freedom fighter Late Shri. Dhanaji Nana Chaudhari was the main host of this conference. The memories of these historical events are great sources of inspiration to the people in this area.
Tapi Valley Education Society was solely established under the fore sighted leadership of Hon’ble Loksevak, Shri. Madhukarrao Dhanaji Chaudhari (Ex-Speaker, Maharastra State Legislative Assembly) in 1960 to provide education in the rural and backward area of North Maharashtra region which would serve as a radiating center of ideas and thoughts that would contribute to the social, cultural and economic implement to the community for Nation building.
About Institute
Hon’ble Loksevak Madhukarrao Chaudhari College of Pharmacy was established in the year of 1994 college offers bachelor of pharmacy, a four year course degree course in pharmacy (B. Pharm) affiliated to North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon was started in the year of 1994. B. Pharm course was accredited by National Board oAf Accreditation (NBA) in the year of 2014. Hon’ble Loksevak Madhukarrao Chaudhari College of Pharmacy also offers course master in pharmacy (M. Pharm) in four streams of specialization affiliated to North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and approved by PCI and AICTE. The college also offers a North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon approved research lab for Ph.D.
Hon’ble Loksevak Madhukarrao Chaudhari College of Pharmacy is more than just an education hub which is a center for excellence, where thoughts and dreams are nurtured, inquisitiveness is awaken and minds are shaped for brilliance. Over the years, our students not only shown excellence in academics but also they have champions at various cultural and sports competitions at various levels.
